Welcome
Hornsey Day Nursery and Preschool is spread across two sites on Hornsey Road about 500 metres away from each other. It is open from 8am to 6pm from Monday to Friday fifty weeks of the year.
Conveniently located between Finsbury Park and Archway and serving Crouch End, Stroud Green, Crouch Hill, Upper Holloway, Highgate and surrounding areas, the nursery is open from 8am to 6pm from Monday to Friday all year, except for two weeks over Christmas and bank holidays.
The Sites
The Baby Room on Hornsey Road includes two rooms, one for very young babies and another for pre-toddlers. Low-level, colourful and easily accessible, resources enable the children to explore and learn as they play and have fun.
The Toddler & Preschool site is located on New Orleans Walk (off Cromartie Road) and boasts a 400 square metre garden along with one room for two year-olds and another for three and four year-olds. Both are designed with the children’s welfare and development in mind.

With highly qualified staff, many with a degree in childcare, and all sorts resources that focus on the social, physical and emotional development, children develop at or above the expected milestones in each of the seven areas of learning in their respective age groups.
Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted at both sites and in all areas of learning, the staff work tirelessly with the children to create a learning experience that lays a solid foundation for later learning.
